People tend to get frustrated quickly when things do not go as planned or as fast as hoped they would but it is time to stop perfectionism because it does not exist with success. Don’t sweat the small stuff or stress about getting something wrong because nobody is perfect. There is nothing perfect in the world and that’s fine.

Worrying about small details or things that are beyond our control is unproductive and just causes aggravation. The only thing one should be considered about is making sure that you are giving your best effort in whatever it is you are doing. After everything is said and done it is good to reflect and realize that real perfectionism in success is striving to be better. Using perfection as an excuse is just a way to avoid criticism, failure, and rejection. We all go through life making mistakes which is an opportunity to learn and grow from it so we can improve. no perfectionism in success

So if you have that bad habit of always trying to be perfect there are a few things you can do to help you overcome perfection overwhelm. If something goes wrong just take a step back and have a good laugh because having a good sense of humor goes a long way in making us feel better. Humor and laughter also releases enough dopamine and endorphin’s to get us through the challenging times. Another thing we can do is to forgive ourselves when things go haywire. There is no need to get down on ourselves if there is a mistake since this is just part of being human. Just forgive yourself and don’t blame others but take advantage of learning from mistakes. Finally, another thing to do is surround yourself with positive people since most positive people know nothing is perfect but they can easily turn mistakes into a highly motivating experience to propel them even further ahead to accomplishing their objective.

When you begin to understand that perfectionism is a barrier towards success you will overcome all the fears of trying to be perfect and create an even greater chance for future success. Embrace the opportunity of not being perfect.
